    litdatuy:

If you write things down, I find it helps.

For me, a big change in my eating habits was planning what vegetable my week was going to be centered around and supplementing stuff that either came from the frozen food section or canned. I know canned food gets a bad rep, but I’ve been using canned plum tomatoes for everything to pasta to salsa or beefing up a stew.

If you can get a walk in, alternating from walking to running every block helps too.

I’m trying to increase my cardio this year so I’m going to hit that icy sidewalk and snow tmmrw. Brrr.

That’s really a cute idea with the vegetables! I have the bad habit of buying different kinds of veggies, but can’t use them all before they go bad. That could make prepping for the week easier too! I’ve tried doing food diaries, but they’re difficult to remember/stick with. I’ll keep trying to maintain one.

I walk an hour a day with the dogs, and try to squeeze in strength+cardio workout DVDs every other day. My problem is I love eating. This is also Thanksgiving, Xmas, and 4 birthdays season so there’s a lot tempting sweets to bake/eat. Just one more birthday to bake a cake for, and hopefully it will be easier from then on out, lol.
